• Position Type:
  Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/17/2025, End: 2/16/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7am-7pm), 3 shifts/week (36 hours/week)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,880 $ 2,020 per week
• Orientation:
  Up to 16 hours (unpaid)
• Floating:
  May float to Inpatient Adult Behavioral Health and Detox units

• Active and unencumbered RN license (Registered Nurse license required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent behavioral health nursing experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
• Demonstrated competency in application of restraints, seclusion procedures, and care for patients in restraint or seclusion (validated by agency)
• Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the hospital (travel nursing requirement)
• Not a former employee of St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center

• Conduct comprehensive admission interviews and systematic physical assessments for adult chemical dependency patients
• Assess and coordinate services from other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized patient care plans for addiction recovery and psychiatric support
• Document patient conditions, nursing care provided, and patient responses accurately
• Provide patient education and facilitate therapeutic group sessions
• Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process
• Care for patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health diagnoses
• Demonstrate proficiency in restraint and seclusion procedures as required in behavioral health settings
