Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in the healthcare setting. This role involves providing direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced emergency department, including assessing patients, administering treatments, and documenting care actions. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of working collaboratively within the emergency care team.
Job Details- Location:
The healthcare providers facility where the ER services are delivered. - Required Qualifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications are required. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in the emergency department setting, including a minimum of 1 year in critical care nursing. A valid nursing license is necessary; candidates with licensure hits will not be considered. - Schedule:
Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. - Responsibilities include assessing patients during admission and throughout their stay, administering IV medications, therapies, and blood products as needed, providing patient education, and documenting nursing actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses.
- Candidates must be willing and able to work as charge nurse and preceptor if needed.
- Float:
Float rotation may be required. - Candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius of the facility.
- Position start date: 10/26/2026, end date: 01/25/2027.
- Up to 16 hours of orientation may be unpaid.
