For this role, we look for individuals to be responsible for expanding our existing customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals.
- Manage a geographical territory, executing the full sales strategy from market analysis, sales forecasting, pipeline management, revenue growth, to contract negotiation and customer retention.
- Respond promptly to inbound leads and requests; familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Develop new business and acquire clients by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals. Educate them on how Equipment Share can help save money, increase revenue, and operate more efficiently.
- Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and keep them informed about new solutions and services.
- Respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, or complaints. Conduct sales presentations to prospective and existing customers.
- Develop new sales strategies to increase market share and enhance customer experience.
- Tenacious, innovative, with proven outside sales experience and a strong sales track record.
- Heavy Construction Equipment or Industry knowledge (rental or construction) preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Technical aptitude to adapt quickly and stay educated on products and services.
- Competitive, self-motivated, results-driven, and team-oriented.
- Ability to manage strategic and national accounts.
