Mental Health Professional

Position Summary

Full‑time Mental Health Professional for the NEXUS Program providing therapeutic and psychological services to offenders in Lewistown, MT.

• Administer screening processes and develop treatment & education plans.
• Ensure program quality, conduct audits, and collaborate on program evaluation and reporting.
• Facilitate group sessions, provide individual counseling, train staff, and support after‑care transitions.
• Document client interactions and maintain accurate records.
• Manage time effectively in a climate‑controlled, indoor setting with flexible shifts and occasional travel.

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Psychology/Counseling.
• Five years of relevant experience and current Montana licensure (LSW or LCPC).
• Experience working with offenders or in correctional environments preferred.
• Familiarity with therapeutic models such as cognitive behavioral therapy and MRT.
• Strong organizational, communication, and assessment skills; proficiency in documentation.
