This position is responsible for checking fluid levels (Fuel, Grease and Oil) and performing preventive maintenance (lubrication, oil changes, oil/air filters and oil samples) on all heavy equipment on the job site according to schedules or as needed. The oiler also safely operates a lube/grease truck to dispense lubricants to construction equipment. Also the oiler will be required to assist the mechanic during repairs.

• Work under supervision of project superintendent or other designated person
• Prepare service truck for use
• Miscellaneous parts running and servicing
• Service the asphalt plant, including generator oil change
• Make daily walk‑around of all rolling stock
• Make repair list for the Job Superintendent
• Perform minor repairs during servicing
• Report all fuel usage to project supervisor
• Correctly complete daily lube reports
• Order supplies daily as needed
• Service and maintain the service truck
• Keep job van neat and clean
• Maintain positive attitude
• Complete responsibilities in a congenial and collaborative manner with co‑workers
• Maintain and promote a clean and safe work environment and culture
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

• Must meet minimum age requirements
• Class A Commercial driver’s license with Tanker and Hazardous Material endorsement preferred
• Training provided by employer for non‑CDL holders
