Senior Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support full-cycle general ledger accounting, multi-entity reporting, state compliance, and audit support. This role will work closely with external auditors and tax providers and play a key role in monthly close and financial accuracy.

• Own general ledger accounting and monthly close activities, including recurring journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain work‑in‑progress (WIP) schedules and related journal entries
• Manage fixed assets and equipment accounting, including depreciation, disposals, and reporting
• Prepare and review balance sheet and bank reconciliations across multiple entities
• Support state and local compliance, including annual reports, franchise taxes, sales & use tax filings, and registrations in new states (in coordination with external providers)
• Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of PBC schedules and responding to auditor requests
• Support billing, payroll‑related accounting, and daily cash management activities as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong general ledger and reconciliation experience
• Exposure to multi‑state filings and working with external tax providers
• Experience supporting audits
• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and Excel

• Construction, infrastructure, or project‑based accounting experience
• Work‑in‑progress (WIP) accounting experience
