PDS Inc. is a leading distributor of industrial process control, pressure protection, control systems, and services in the southwestern United States, serving North, East, West Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and New Mexico.

Responsibilities
  • Represent client professionally and courteously.
  • Quote, coordinate, and assist with scheduling of repairs.
  • Ensure targeted sales margins are met.
  • Understand tools and processes available to resolve internal and external issues.
  • Provide office support for technicians and sales and leadership (quoting, parts research, etc.).
  • Manage orders in an organized manner ensuring rapid flow of repairs.
  • Follow all order and repair management procedures.
  • Research required parts list for repair quotes.
  • Request quotes and orders from vendors as needed.
  • Compile all documentation required to accompany invoicing.
  • File all paper documentation of orders.
  • Backup counter sales as needed.
  • Travel as needed for training, meetings, or additional support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Multi-task/Manage all duties while maintaining a positive “Think Customer” attitude.
Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of supply chain management and accounting.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Self‑motivated and able to thrive without direction from supervisor.
  • Ability to succeed in high‑pressure situations without frustration.
  • Good organizational skills and willingness to complete required paperwork.
  • Experience in customer service or inside sales.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Experience with order management software; SAP is a plus.
  • Competency with computers; proficiency in MS Excel and MS Dynamics CRM is a plus.
Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English.
  • Work in a team environment with eagerness to collaborate.
  • Ability to operate office machinery (telephone, copier, fax, PC).
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment as necessary.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
