We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing staffing team. This individual will play a key role in driving new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and positioning our firm as a trusted talent partner. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities with mid-sized to enterprise clients in the Technology or Finance & Accounting sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, procurement, and HR leaders to understand their staffing needs.
- Conduct outreach through cold calling, email campaigns, Linked In, and networking events to build a strong sales pipeline.
- Present staffing solutions tailored to each client's needs, with a strong understanding of current skillsets.
- Negotiate client agreements, rate structures, and contract terms with professionalism and strategic insight.
- Collaborate with internal recruiters to ensure timely and successful delivery of qualified candidates.
- Track sales metrics, pipeline activity, and forecast performance using CRM tools (e.g., Bullhorn, Salesforce, etc.).
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably within IT staffing, Finance & Accounting, consulting, or recruiting.
- Proven success in generating new business and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of technology roles, skillsets, and hiring practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales tools to manage pipelines and outreach.
Nice to Have:
- Existing client relationships or book of business within tech/startup/enterprise sectors.
- Familiarity with VMS/MSP environments and navigating RFPs.
- Prior experience partnering closely with recruiters in a delivery-focused model.
