. This position is a home‑based role; all teachers must be Texas state‑certified and live within Texas.

• Completed a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
• Valid Texas Teacher Certification in your area of instruction

• Experience with mastery‑based or individualized learning approaches to student education (Preferred)
• 1-3 years of teaching experience in a Texas Public School
• 1-3 years of virtual teaching experience (Preferred)
• Two or more years of documented experience teaching online courses for students in Grades 3-12, AND successfully completed continuing professional development specific to online learning every three years (Preferred)

• Implement accommodations and modifications through appropriate assignments and assessments
• Partner with special educators to determine appropriate implementation of accommodations and modifications for specific content standards
• Comply with the Texas Educator Code of Ethics, the Responsive Ed Employee Handbook, the Responsive Ed Student‑Parent Handbook, and other relevant directives and procedures
• Serve as a test administrator during all state testing windows and district assessment testing as needed (may require overnight travel)
