The Senior Representative for CLP Dealer Support handles all administrative repossession procedures, including fee approvals, repossession reassignments, inbox requests, and communication with vendors. Requires collaboration with Ally departments, customers, and suppliers.
Responsibilities- Partner with AE/UW/Dealer Management/Sales support teams to resolve repo-related inquiries.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to format and complete daily reporting.
- Meet internal goal metrics and exceed them.
- Work closely with outside repossession companies, forwarders, and Skip Supplier.
- Collaborate with Special Handling groups on complex accounts (Bankruptcy, SCRA, Replevin, Deceased, Fraud).
- Support business and department level projects.
- Operate accurately in a high‑volume environment.
- Collect information, coordinate activities with others, and resolve issues.
- Respond promptly to suppliers and customers on various requests.
- Determine risk versus benefit for potential process and procedure updates.
- Perform qualitative review of individual situations, identify trends, and make recommendations.
- Communicate effectively via phone or email daily, weekly, and monthly with vendors to provide exceptional customer service regarding routine and escalated requests.
- Adhere to laptop security policies and work‑from‑home policies as needed.
- Assist in partnership with complaints and escalations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in Auto Finance operations preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Excel and PowerPoint, high proficiency preferred.
- Intermediate written and oral communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Expert data entry and word processing skills.
- Strong listening skills and ability to follow direction.
- Knowledge of Ally systems preferred.
- Ability to work well in a team setting and assist peers in their absence.
- Base Pay Range: $48,880 – $57,200 USD.
- Incentive Compensation: eligible to participate in annual incentive plan.
- Time Away: 20 paid time off days plus 11 paid holidays and 8 hours of volunteer time off yearly.
