Assists cardiologist in performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Performs quality procedures accurately and in a timely manner. Operates x-ray equipment, prepares patient’s room, equipment, supplies, and medications. Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed. Maintains safe environment for patients, fellow workers, physicians, and visitors. Supports and helps achieve departmental and hospital goals. The Technologist demonstrates an awareness of patient’s rights and works to ensure patient privacy, safety and comfort.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or attain RCIS within
  18 months of employment or
• RT (R) - Registered Radiological Technologist and MRT license by Texas Medical Board or
• RRT – Registered Respiratory Therapist and Texas licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner OR EMT-P
• Certificate, or Associate Degree must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

Medical City Lewisville is a full-service 190+ bed medical and surgical facility. We offer a broad spectrum of care to the communities of southern Denton County. We have emergency services at our main campus and at Medical City ER Flower Mound. Our patient tower has two floors dedicated to women’s services. We have a specialty obstetrics referral center for high risk OB services.
