We seek an experienced and strategic Global Marketing Director to lead our worldwide marketing efforts.
This role drives brand awareness, demand generation, and market expansion for our advanced industrial instrumentation portfolio.
Reporting to senior leadership, you will develop and execute global marketing strategies that align with business objectives, support sales teams across regions, and position Proton Products as a leader in industrial process control technology.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive global marketing strategies to promote Proton Products' instrumentation solutions across target industries (wire & cable, metals, extrusion, etc.).
- Oversee all marketing functions, including digital marketing, content creation, trade shows, public relations, and advertising campaigns.
- Lead market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and customer needs in industrial sectors.
- Manage the creation of technical marketing materials, such as product brochures, case studies, white papers, videos, and website content tailored to B2B industrial audiences.
- Coordinate global trade show participation, product launches, and promotional events (e.g., Wire Düsseldorf, MD&M West).
- Build and manage partnerships with industry associations, distributors, and agents worldwide.
- Direct digital initiatives, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media (Linked In-focused for B2B), and website optimization.
- Collaborate with sales teams in regions (Americas, Europe, Asia) to support lead generation and pipeline growth.
- Manage the marketing budget, track ROI on campaigns, and report on key performance metrics.
- Foster a data-driven marketing culture, leveraging tools for analytics and CRM integration.
- Travel internationally as needed for events, customer visits, and team alignment (estimated 20‑30%).
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master's/MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within B2B industrial, manufacturing, or technology sectors (experience in instrumentation, automation, or process control highly desirable).
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful global marketing strategies in technical/industrial markets.
- Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and terminology (e.g., extrusion, non-contact measurement, Industry 4.0).
- Experience with digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Hub Spot/Marketo, Linked In Ads) and content management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical products into compelling value propositions.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing cross‑functional or remote teams.
- Willingness to be based in or relocate to the Lewisville, Texas area.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Technical background or familiarity with industrial instrumentation (e.g., laser Doppler, diameter gauging, spark testing).
- Experience in international markets and multicultural teams.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation.
