Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with at least one year of recent operating room experience and a current TX or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital operating room setting
- Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients
- Schedule is 07:00 to 19:00 on day shifts
- 13-week contract assignment
- Will work alongside surgical teams in the operating room and support patient care throughout the perioperative period
- Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided during onboarding
- Holiday coverage may be required as per departmental needs
- Active TX or compact state RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in operating room nursing
- Current AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Must provide one professional reference for consideration
- Candidate must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
