American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Surgical Telemetry position requiring 2 years of med-surg experience and a TX or compact RN license.

• Surgical Telemetry Unit with 19 beds
• Staffed with a mix of RN, LVN, and PCT with a charge nurse on each shift
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Uses Baxter IV pumps and Welch Allyn vital signs machines
• Meditech EMR
• Day shift schedule from 7A-7P
• Floating required to Ortho Trauma and Inpatient Rehab

• Active TX or compact RN license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical experience required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Perform ambulation of patients and PRN wound care
• Unit has a dedicated admission/discharge team to support patient flow
• Supportive team culture with staff who assist one another during busy shifts
• Royal blue scrub attire required
• Candidates must reside outside a 50 mile radius of the facility
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
