Telemetry (TELE) Nursing position in a surgical telemetry unit located in Lewisville, Texas. This role involves providing patient care on a 19-bed unit that includes adult medical-surgical patients, with a focus on telemetry monitoring. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional to support both day shift operations in a dynamic clinical environment.

• Required Qualifications:
  
  Valid BLS certification, at least 2 years of medical-surgical (MS) nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Charge nurse experience, preceptor experience.

  • Bed Count: 19 beds
  • Staff: RN, LVN, PCT team
  • Staffing:
    Day shift with 1 charge nurse, 3-4 nurses (RN/LVN), and 1-2 PCTs; night shift with similar staffing.
  • Patient Ratios: 1:6
  • Equipment:
    Baxter IV pumps, Welch Allyn VS machines
  • EMR System:
    Meditech

  Ambulation, wound care, PRN treatments
