- Be a Team Member:
Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicate with team members; be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas as needed. - Be an Expert:
Demonstrate knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepare (e.g., cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) meat products according to established standards; cut boneless meat products; maintain product quality standards. - Be a Techie:
Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage use. - Be an Owner:
Maintain operational excellence; keep work area clean and in compliance with company policies; ensure quality and date control standards for meat products; secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored per policies. - Be a Talent Ambassador:
Model high-quality service and products; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work; advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience in the meat area. - Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics by applying related action plans and the Open Door Policy.
- Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress and information; seek improvements and adapt to change and feedback.
