Sales Associates are the foundation of the Velvet Box customer experience. This is a hands-on, customer-facing retail role that requires confidence, strong communication skills, and comfort engaging in consultative sales conversations.

Associates guide customers with discretion and professionalism, educate thoughtfully, and work toward sales goals while maintaining store standards. This is not a passive retail role. Success comes from presence, consistency, and follow-through.

• Provide elevated, consultative customer service through education and product guidance
• Create a welcoming, discreet, and professional environment for all guests
• Maintain strong knowledge of products and confidently explain features and benefits
• Accurately process transactions using point-of-sale systems
• Assist with inventory, receiving shipments, and restocking merchandise
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual standards
• Follow all store procedures related to safety, cash handling, and operations
• Work collaboratively with team members and leadership to support store goals

• Retail, hospitality, or customer-facing experience required
• Strong communication skills with a calm, approachable presence
• Professional, dependable, and punctual
• Comfortable engaging in consultative conversations with customers
• Detail-oriented and able to follow procedures accurately
• Comfortable working in an intimacy and wellness retail environment with discretion
• Availability to work evenings and weekends
