The Meat Clerk supports the Meat Department by delivering strong customer service and practicing safe food handling procedures. Your day-to-day duties include:

• Stocking and merchandising in both the fresh and frozen cases
• Updating product pricing as necessary
• Ensuring product quality, protection, accuracy, and proper rotation in coolers
• Rewrapping meat packages as needed
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment in compliance with safety and sanitation requirements
• Keeping meat displays clean and presentable
• Ensuring the pork rind rack is clean and organized
• Storing cleaning supplies properly
• Advertising department products

Because the store opens early, this position requires a 5:00 AM start time
. Your attention to detail from the beginning of the shift helps set a positive tone for the entire department and ensures customers encounter well-organized, high-quality products.

Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and bring at least one year of meat department experience

The position involves significant physical demands, classified as heavy work. Key requirements include:

• Lifting and moving up to 100 pounds occasionally
