the Role

Depending on your experience, you will be hired at the Associate, Service, or Senior Technician level with pay and responsibilities commensurate with your skills. Responsibilities include installations, maintenance, and repairs of commercial kitchen equipment.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, repair and install a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment.
• Handle on‑call rotation and complex troubleshooting.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians.
• Follow safety protocols and perform regular safety checks.
• Document work orders and service reports using company tablets.
• Collaborate with customers, manufacturers, and sales reps.
• Use creative problem‑solving to address repair challenges.

What It Takes

• Associate Technician: Entry‑level role for individuals with mechanical aptitude, learning willingness, or related technical education.
• Service Technician: 1–2 years of experience servicing or installing commercial kitchen or refrigeration equipment.
• Senior Service Technician: 3+ years of advanced experience leading complex installations and mentoring.
• Technical or trade school training preferred (especially refrigeration).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Strong communication and independent work skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25% in the first two weeks.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 75 lbs.
• Stand, bend, kneel, crawl, and climb as needed.
• Operate tools with precision.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and may vary based on qualifications and geographic location.
