This position assists the operators by helping set up the pump at job sites as needed. They may also assist in setting up concrete delivery systems and in backing of ready mix trucks to the pump. This position also helps where needed at the Vista Ridge Concrete Pumping locations.

• Assists in setting up, uses and maintains tools and equipment associated with the concrete pumps mounted on trucks
• Assists in the loading and unloading of concrete placing systems and attachments
• Assists the backing of Ready Mix trucks to the pump
• Routinely checks for leaks
• Contain ALL hydraulic or diesel leaks
• When needed, shovel spilled concrete back into the hopper
• Ensure that water is in the water box
• Assists operator(s) with maintenance at the yard, including replacing blown pipe, elbow, and gasket replacement
• Cleaning of all pumps thoroughly to include, but not limited to:
  Cab, remotes, side boxes, system, pump and boom; pipes, hoses, and clamps
• Assist with pre- and post-trip inspections
• Setting up and handling system (pipe & hoses) for concrete pumps
• Other duties as assigned

• Valid Driver's License

• Prior experience preferred
• Previous experience maintaining pumps
• Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical problems
• Clear understanding of equipment and safety manuals
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with customers and ready mix producers
