Project Coordinator

Overview

Mas Tec Utility Services (MUS) provides critical infrastructure construction and engineering services for power delivery, gas, and water customers, specializing in overhead and underground electric distribution, gas distribution construction, and turnkey solutions for water, sewer, and civil infrastructure projects. The candidate will work on gas distribution projects, managing project packets and drawings, reviewing and correcting Locusview submissions for Atmos approval, and coordinating with Mas Tec and Atmos teams to ensure project completion.

• Create packets and drawings that reflect what team members have installed.
• Draw projects as they were mapped in Locusview.
• Review, correct, and submit Locusview projects as they are completed for packet completion.
• Coordinate with Mas Tec and Atmos to correct packets and Locusview.
• Communicate effectively internally and with external stakeholders.
• Work in a team‑oriented environment.
• Exhibit excellent organizational, time‑management, and communication skills and adapt to change.
• Experience in Bluebeam is a plus.

• Associate’s degree preferred, or equivalent related experience with high school, trade school, or design education.
• Proficient in CAD (minimum 1+ year experience);

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions, around energized equipment, in confined spaces, and in heavy traffic construction environments while wearing proper PPE.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record for the past 5 years.

• Familiarity with Atmos packets.
• Knowledge of distribution gas piping and fittings, electrofusion, and butt fusion joints.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Physical stamina for standing, walking on uneven ground, climbing ladders, working in tight spaces, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel locally and for temporary on‑site assignments.

This position may require significant time standing or walking on uneven ground, possible climbing of ladders or working at high places, operating in tight spaces, lifting up to 50 pounds, and overall physical exertion. Work may occur in all‑weather conditions.
