Dinsmore is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant at our Lexington, KY location who will support multiple attorneys and/or paralegals in our Commercial Litigation practice group.
Responsibilities- File and client management, formatting, proofreading and editing of documents, online filings, time entry, expense reimbursements, travel arrangements and other administrative support. We seek candidates that are self-directed, high energy, and have advanced computer skills
- Solid work history including 3-5 recent years providing legal administrative support
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff including attorneys, paralegals and other assistants throughout the Firm
- Intermediate to advanced-level use of Microsoft Office Suite, .pdf editing software, and related legal software
- Experience with E‑filing (federal and state)
- Experience using timekeeping software and document management systems
- Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and meticulous attention to detail
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen ability to multi-task
- Proven success as a positive team player, as well as an independent worker
- Ability to excel in a fast‑paced environment
