Essential Duties:
Mail Services
* Sort, prepare, and process all incoming and outgoing US mail, campus mail, and parcels.
* Sell stamps, postcards, envelopes, and shipping services to faculty, staff, and students.
* Ensure adequate postage meter balances to support operations.
* Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and maintain all government requirements with postal services.
* Report monthly postage and shipping fees for departmental charges.
* Manage and train student workers adequately to staff the mailroom(s).
Office Services and Purchasing
* Serve as campus operator.
* Manage inventory of general supplies including monthly report of supplies expenses for departmental charges.
* Review and approve purchases on Amazon business account.
* Manage cooperative purchasing arrangements and place orders for departments as requested from approved vendors.
* Manage copier services including maintaining equipment contracts, copier accounts, and reporting on monthly usage for departmental charges.
* Coordinate purchases of large ticket items that do not require a Request for Proposal (RFP) and assist in the processing of RFPs for specialized goods and services.
Vehicular Transportation Services
* Manage requests for personal vehicle usage and rental cars in compliance with university policies and procedures.
* Maintain approved drivers list including driver's license checks and insurance coverage.
* Manage driver training program for all university approved drivers.
* Maintain list of university-owned vehicles including licensing, insurance, and maintenance records.
* Manage fleet card program including issuance, tracking, and reporting.
* Coordinate insurance claims involving university-owned vehicles.
Secondary Duties:
● Serve as backup for campus card services, and other areas of the Business Office as needs arise
● Other duties as assigned.
