Fiscal Clerk

Overview

• The Fiscal Clerk is accountable for performing basic clerical duties in an accurate and timely manner.
• The Fiscal Clerk reports to a Director or Manager in the Fiscal Services as assigned and does not supervise anyone.
• This position may have contact with corporate and hospital personnel, and related outside agencies.

• Prepares documents for payment in an accurate and timely manner.
• Prepares documents to be key entered into usable input computer form.
• Verifies information on documents and assures compliance with ARH policy and procedure.
• Prepares various reports for and supplies information to outside agencies.
• Maintains and updates accounts, logs, records, and files.
• Audits and reconciles accounts.
• Codes and posts ledgers and reports.
• Prepares account bank deposits and disbursements as assigned.
• Sorts, processes and distributes mail and files various reports and documents.
• Enters information into a CRT.

Performs other related duties as required.

• High school diploma or its equivalent PLUS knowledge of CRT operation.
