Physical Requirements: Lifting, pushing, pulling objects up to 50 pounds; sitting for long periods of time.
Shift: Monday-Friday (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.);
Up to 24 hours during this time-frame as needed.
Job Summary: As an Extension Staff Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Extension office. Duties include office management, customer service, record keeping, newsletters, and program support while maintaining a professional demeanor. Responsibilities include receptionist tasks, word processing, Quick Books, filing, database maintenance, mailing lists, website development/maintenance, newsletter design, and support for county agents and program assistants.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, Office 365, Teams, Skype for Business, Zoom), Quick Books, organizational and time management skills.
Supervisory Responsibilities: No.

Previous experience in an administrative support role.
