Assistant Construction Project Manager

Insight Global is looking for an Assistant Construction Project Manager working onsite in Lexington, Kentucky, who would be supporting the Senior Project Manager by overseeing daily operations focused on safety, quality, and production across three worksites. Each morning begins with coordination meetings and safety briefings, followed by site walks to ensure employees are using proper PPE and adhering to safety protocols.

Throughout the day, they will inspect work zones for quality assurance, track progress against production goals, and document in Procore. Along with onsite duties, they will help manage budgets, order materials, and coordinate deliveries to keep the project on schedule. Office tasks include updating daily logs, RFIs, and submittals in Procore, while afternoon site visits confirm corrective actions and support crew leads with field issues.

The day ends with a review of progress and planning for the next day, ensuring all documentation and communication are up to date.

$50,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

• 1-5 years of experience as an Assistant PM OR Construction PM in an industrial construction space
• Comfortable delegating responsibilities and working independently when management isn’t onsite
• Proficiency in expediting responsibilities to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
• Strong background in Project Management, with the ability to assist in coordinating project activities and achieving deadlines
• Knowledge of industry standard safety practices.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
• Experience in construction or contracting industries is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
