The STEPS Smart Campus Project Coordinator will work closely with the Smart Campus iPad initiative and Smart Campus content creation. As directed by Smart Campus leadership, the individual in this role will coordinate students and other staff members to put together major iPad‑promoting events, namely the yearly iPad deployment event, Tech Takeover, monthly Bowman’s Friends podcast episodes, daily social media content for You Tube, Tik Tok, Instagram, and other recurring projects while also ensuring they meet ADA, UK PR, and other guidelines/strategies.
They will also coordinate frequent iPad initiative optimization, including improving workflows, assist with unique iPad troubleshooting, plan iPad workshops and ‘Tips & Tricks’ videos. The STEPS Smart Campus Project Coordinator will also assist in and lead various projects for Smart Campus and other University of Kentucky initiatives to improve their reach and effectiveness.
The individual should have excellent communication, organization, and project management skills with the ability to follow department procedures/policies and to work independently and among peers. Individuals with graphical design, video editing, IT, Social Media, and leadership abilities will excel in this position.
