The University of Kentucky is seeking an Emergency Medical Dispatcher to join its emergency services dispatch team. You will manage and direct emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatch UK ambulances, schedule transports, and assist in air traffic control for helicopters landing at the medical center.
This role requires basic medical terminology knowledge and computer skills, and you must obtain a APCO dispatching certification within one year of hire. Weekend and holiday shifts are possible.
