Smart Dental of Lexington – Full‑Time Dental Hygienist

Location: 2600 Nicholasville Rd, Lexington, KY 40503

Salary: $35.40 – $44.96 per hour

Experience: No experience required – open to new grads or experienced hygienists

• Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM | 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Note: Mondays are mandatory.

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including cleanings, scaling, and root planning.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices.
• Take and process digital X‑rays using Nomad X‑ray and Dexis software.
• Utilize Dentrix for charting and patient management (training provided).
• Perform intraoral scans with iTero scanner to assist treatment planning.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to OSHA and HIPAA standards.
• Foster a positive, welcoming atmosphere for patients and team.

• Current Dental Hygienist license in Kentucky.
• Experience with Dentrix, iTero, Nomad X‑ray, Dexis preferred; training available.
• Excellent communication and patient‑focused attitude.
• Detail‑oriented, team‑oriented, adaptable to dynamic environment.
• CPR certification.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent or other digital scanners.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills.
• Completion of TB testing prior to employment.
