The Architect will perform all phases of architectural work, including planning, designing, and reviewing construction. Responsibilities include new building designs, extensions, alterations, and renovations from the earliest stages through to completion, ensuring client needs are met with efficient, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs.

• Controls project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design.
• May be asked to assist with scope and to identify clients’ needs, producing feasibility reports and design proposals.
• Develops design ideas keeping in mind client needs, building usage and environmental impact.
• Produces detailed construction documents and makes any necessary corrections.
• Compiles project specifications when requested.
• Keeps within budgets and timelines.
• Ensures all work meets specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations.
• Makes on‑site visits to check project status and reports on progress.
• Stays informed on architectural trends and advancements.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Strong portfolio skills.
• Knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
• Proficient with design software (AutoCAD, Revit).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in architectural design.
• Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architecture (required).
• Professional licensure in the state of KY or ability to obtain it.
• Industrial or commercial experience is a plus.
