The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at the University of Kentucky is seeking a highly qualified Sleep Physician to serve as the Medical Director of the Sleep Center at the University of Kentucky.
This leadership position features protected time, with responsibility for the growth and development of the Sleep Center’s clinical and academic mission within the Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine Division at the University of Kentucky. The Medical Director will be expected to provide and facilitate the delivery of outstanding care to outpatients in the sleep clinic and participate in fellow education.
There are significant opportunities for patient‑oriented research through the Sleep Center, with support from a strong underlying infrastructure for clinical research within the Division. The ideal candidate will have a well‑developed interest in and experience in sleep medicine, evidence of educational and/or research accomplishments within the field of sleep medicine, be board‑certified in Sleep Medicine, and qualify at the Associate Professor level or above.
Salaries and academic rank are commensurate with experience.
