Position Time Status: 10‑month appointment (90% Teaching & Advising; 10% Service/Professional Development)

January 1, 2026 (not later than March 1, 2026). Posting will remain open until filled.
The position is onsite and based in Lexington, KY. The Lecturer will assist and resource the Undergraduate BSN program within the College of Nursing. Responsibilities include teaching, advising, and mentoring undergraduates enrolled in the BSN program; implementing and evaluating assigned didactic and clinical courses; planning and evaluating student clinical experiences and sites; guiding BSN students; and providing clinical services as an undergraduate clinical instructor.
RequiredEducation, Experience & Qualifications
- Earned Master’s Degree in nursing (DNP or PhD preferred).
- Preparation in teaching and learning principles for adult education preferred, including curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Clinical experience in one or more of the following areas: health promotion, health informatics, pediatrics, public health, physical assessment, synthesis, professional role, or pharmacology (required).
- Successful teaching experience with baccalaureate nursing students in the above areas preferred.
- An active, unencumbered Kentucky license as a registered nurse.
- A minimum of 2 years of related BSN‑prepared professional clinical practice nursing experience within the last 5 years.
- Successful teaching experience with baccalaureate nursing students in the areas of health promotion, health informatics, pediatrics, public health, physical assessment, synthesis, professional role or pharmacology.
