Montessori Primary Level Co-Teacher

This is a full‑time position at 1209 Texaco Road in Lexington, KY, for a Montessori Primary Level Co‑Teacher. The Co‑Teacher will share responsibility with the Head Teacher for the safety, health, and well‑being of all children in the classroom.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and maintaining a prepared Montessori classroom environment.
• Support classroom instruction and collaborate with the lead teacher on lesson planning and execution.
• Provide individualized guidance to students.
• Actively engage with students to foster their academic, social, and emotional growth while adhering to the Montessori philosophy.

• Montessori certification preferred but not required.
• Background in Education with a focus on Montessori principles highly preferred.
• Strong skills and experience in working with young children between the ages of 3-6.
• Proficiency in effective communication and relationship‑building with students, families, and staff.
• Passion for working with children and fostering a supportive learning environment; ability to demonstrate patience and empathy.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
