Physical RequirementsApplicant must be able to sit still in a pose for periods of 20 minutes at a time. Some bending, standing and twisting is required for short 5 to 10 minute poses.
ShiftFall semester courses at the School of Art and Visual Studies meet on Monday and Wednesday from 9:00 – 11:50 and Thursday 6:00‑8:00 p.m. Models are not scheduled for every class every week. Please indicate your availability in the cover letter along with your application.
Job SummaryThe School of Art and Visual Studies at the College of Fine Arts is currently seeking Art Models for drawing classes. Models are expected to pose nude for student coursework and should be able to hold poses from 30 seconds to as long as 45 minutes. While athletic ability is not required, body awareness and the ability to twist, turn, bend and accentuate the 3‑dimensional qualities of the figure in poses is highly desirable.
The work is performed under supervision of the class instructor during class hours.
