Job SummaryThe John Maze Stewart Department of Finance and Quantitative Methods at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY is pleased to invite applications for a tenure-eligible, Regular Title Series, position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. This is a 9-month position with a preferred start date of August 1, 2027. The successful candidate must hold a Ph.D. in finance or a related field by the start date;
ABD candidates who expect to complete their degree before the start date may also be considered. The research agenda is open, and the anticipated teaching load is three courses per year. The anticipated initial distribution of effort ( DOE ) will be 30% teaching, 60% research, and 10% service. The successful candidate will be expected to mentor and advise students and to provide service to the department, college, university, and profession.
The Finance Department has a highly productive group of research-oriented faculty who publish in top finance journals. The department has strong research support, a vibrant Ph.D. program, and hosts a top-quality boutique finance conference (
