Currently we have a Production Engineer role open on 1st shift
. The Production Engineer will provide engineering support for ongoing and new operations.
- Uses and promotes Lean Manufacturing methods
- Designs methods and machines for maintaining or increasing production levels while improving production costs, yields, quality and safety
- Trains operators in correct process, software, equipment, tooling, and/or fixture use
- Investigates and initiates Design Engineering change requests, participates in design reviews of new products or major revisions to guide Design Engineering toward a best solution, and facilitates implementation of design changes
- Develops and updates process procedures to ensure that documentation is accurate, clear, and follows Link-Belt standards
- Troubleshoots process problems and identifies solutions that reduce downtime and minimize maintenance costs
- Assists Manufacturing in troubleshooting problems with manufactured product
- Analyzes marketing and economic conditions and relates these factors to future manufacturing requirements
- Monitors process equipment to identify potential errors and develops solutions to eliminate the occurrence or reoccurrence of problems
- Performs Project Management as assigned
- Provides technical information for cost estimating and cost reduction
- Performs engineering calculations to validate production‑related designs
- Four‑year college degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of two (2) years’ related work experience
