Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team for a groundbreaking $60 million construction project in Kentucky. There are 2 years of expected work at this location, then traveling afterwards. This project, which is an addition to a pharmaceutical manufacturing campus, is expected to last two years and will then transition to subsequent projects. This salaried role offers overtime compensation and includes a monthly per diem.

The position involves leading construction site activities, managing specific trades, and assisting in ensuring subcontractor and vendor compliance with safety and contract standards.

• Lead assigned vendors and subcontractors to meet project goals.
• Ensure the achievement of safety objectives on assigned projects.
• Ensure corporate goals and quality requirements are met on projects.
• Foster positive relationships with clients at the site.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans and schedules.
• Develop a working knowledge of the project budget and identify exceptions.
• Assist with change control and related financial documentation.
• Oversee vendor and subcontractor work for quality compliance.
• Participate in constructibility reviews of design documents.
• Coordinate and procure extra-corporate project resources.
• Work with project leaders on pre-bid walk-throughs and meetings.
• Evaluate payment requests against actual performance.
• Manage subcontractor and vendor field T&M change requests.
• Facilitate communication between project participants.
• Support the RFI process and produce daily site condition reports.
• Review safety documentation and ensure compliance with safety programs.
• Oversee startup and commissioning activities of assigned trades.
• Ensure all submittals meet project and corporate requirements.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

• 5+ years of experience as an electrical superintendent on large projects.
• Experience in construction management and instrumentation controls.
• Proficiency in Procore and electrical commissioning.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build and lead teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong document control and schedule management abilities.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Preferred experience in manufacturing or industrial settings, particularly GMP on projects over $20 million.
• Experience in instrumentation and controls (I&C).
• Ability to effectively communicate with demanding clients.

The role involves working on a large-scale construction project in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting. The position may require oversight of various trades and coordination with multiple stakeholders. There is a need for professionalism and strong communication skills due to the demanding nature of the client.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, KY.

The pay range for this position is $57.00 - $72.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Lexington, KY.

This position is anticipated to close on Jan 5, 2026.
