Director of Engineering (1112780)
The Judge Group is seeking a Director of Engineering for our client in the Lexington, KY area operations. The qualified individual will have 12+ years of experience in heavy industrial manufacturing, e.g., Automotive, Construction Equipment, Forklifts, and other industrial equipment.
Location: Lexington-Fayette, KY
Salary: $150,000 – $175,000 annually
Responsibilities- Design and support of all products
- Ensure all technical and customer requirements are exceeded
- Oversee and support Engineering, Service, Warranty, etc.
- Manage the Engineering Department including design of new products as well as supporting current production products
- Drive cost-effective design concepts
- Allocate engineering resources
- Ensure products comply with safety requirements
- Provide customer service support
- Review service & warranty issues
- Collaborate with manufacturing
- Responsible for expense budget creation
- Partner with Global Engineering team
- BS in Engineering degree
- 12+ years of product design and support experience
- 3+ years in a management position
- Comprehensive knowledge of heavy industrial machinery manufacturing (Automotive, Construction Equipment, Forklifts)
- Proven analytical skills
