OverviewAs a Power Delivery Team Lead, you’ll guide a talented team of engineers and Engineering Interns (EITs) while driving client relationships and business development. You’ll lead complex projects that impact communities and industries, ensuring reliable power delivery and supporting mission‑critical data centers.
Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor a team of substation engineers and EITs
- Develop proposals and fee estimates for new projects
- Lead client engagement and business development efforts
- Coordinate power‑design work through schematic design, development, and contract documentation phases
- Establish meetings and participate in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance
- Manage workload and schedules to deliver projects on time
- Conduct on‑site work sessions with Project Managers and other disciplines
- Review project documents for conflicts and ensure seamless integration across disciplines
- Write and edit project specifications
- Coordinate with other teams on addenda, RFIs, and change orders, and incorporate agreed changes into project documents
- Provide construction contract administration as needed
- Perform QA/QC reviews on work by Engineers, Project Coordinators, Designers, or BIM Technicians
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support project success
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required)
- Professional engineering license recognized by the state of the location (required)
- Previous experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector (required)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector (preferred)
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office and standard Power Market Sector design software (e.g., PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Auto Pipe, Revit)
