Senior Structural Engineer – Bridge & Horizontal Structures

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with 10+ years of bridge and horizontal structural experience to drive business development, manage project teams, and ensure financial and technical success for our Lexington office. This hands‑on leadership role combines engineering expertise, project management, and team mentorship to deliver high‑quality civil engineering solutions.

• Lead and manage bridge and horizontal structural engineering projects from design through construction.
• Drive business development and establish market presence with county and state clients.
• Manage departmental budgets, resources, and staffing needs.
• Hire, mentor, and conduct performance reviews for engineering staff.
• Contribute to proposal development and technical solutions.
• Serve as a technical expert and resource for project managers and engineers.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) from an accredited program.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience, specifically in bridge/horizontal structures.
• Proven project management and business development experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience with local/state government clients.
• Supervisory experience managing engineering teams.

• Full‑time onsite role in Lexington, KY.
• Office environment with occasional site visits; standard office lighting, temperature, and conditions.
