Description:

Work directly with production and installation personnel to identify, test, and implement process improvements. Use engineering drawings to assess producibility, recommend design adjustments, and set hour standards for efficiencies. Perform run and process trend analyses to pinpoint performance gaps and opportunities for continuous improvement. Partner with cross functional teams (process engineers, production staff, quality assurance) to align improvement efforts with business goals.

Must be able to work on site in Lexington, KY

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
-Ability to obtain security clearance.
-Team player.

Skills:

Proven experience applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies in a manufacturing or production environment. Proficiency with Minitab for statistical analysis and project tracking. Able to create and work with Excel Macros Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Experience with Team Center Engineering (or similar product data management tools). Background in production operations, preferably in fabrication and installation contexts.
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
