The Director of Finance at The Campbell House Lexington will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of our historic hotel. This leadership position demands a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to drive financial performance, ensure compliance, and support the company’s long-term growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial planning, while working closely with other departments to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies to support the company’s goals.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and forecasts.
  • Manage budgeting processes, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial policies.
  • Collaborate with department heads to monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee cash flow management, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll functions.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to maximize productivity and professional growth.
  • Partner with external auditors, financial institutions, and consultants as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in finance management, preferably in hospitality or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial software, accounting principles, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
