Associates Degree

Required Experience: 1 year of experience

Required Certification: Registered Sonographer RDMS and/or RT at time of hire;
Basic Life Support certification via AHA within 90 days of hire.

Physical Requirements: Requires heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects over 50 pounds; repetitive motion tasks.

This position provides ultrasound imaging for the Department of Radiology in emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings. The sonographer will perform abdominal, pelvic, 1st trimester OB, small part, peripheral venous, and pediatric specific exams (e.g., pylorus, echoencephalogram, hips).

• Level I – 96 hours any shift / 6-week schedule = $43/hour
• Level II – 144 hours any shift / 6-week schedule = $51/hour
• Level III – 216 hours any shift / 6-week schedule = $59/hour
• Level IV – 216 hours on nights / 6-week schedule = $67/hour
