* Job Summary:

*** With limited supervision coordinates the delivery of health care services to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
* Establishes and maintains standards of care in Ultrasound sciences.
* Exercises professional judgment in performance of duties.
* Assures appropriate patient care management and adjust daily operations to meet the needs of a changing work environment.
* Involved with staff competencies, schedules, and educational needs.
* If position involves work with Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physicians, nuchal translucency certification preferred (or obtained within the first year of employment).
** Performs the following studies proficiently:
*** Biophysical Profile
* Complete Obstetric Ultrasound
* Limited Obstetric Ultrasound
* Multiple Gestation Ultrasound
* Transvaginal (cervical length) Ultrasound
* Pelvic Ultrasound
*** Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures

Required:

**** High School Diploma required;
Associates Degree from an OB-GYN Ultrasound program preferred (Certificate or Degree as long as registry eligible).
* Holds current credentials as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
* Three (3) years of experience in scanning OB-GYN procedures.
* Basic Life Support and other advanced training as appropriate.
