Cast Tech – per diem at Shriners Children’s. Join to apply for this role. Located in Lexington, KY. Salary: $52,000.00–$56,000.00.
We have a per diem Cast Tech position available! The Cast Technician will provide assistance to the medical staff in the application, maintenance, and removal of casts, traction and other splint or motion devices as ordered, and inform patients/families, staff and students about the use and care of casts and traction devices.
Responsibilities- Maintains cast room and supplies.
- Applies holding casts or splints per physician protocol.
- Assists the physician with cast application.
- Interrelates with children and families.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- One year of related work experience.
- Medical Assistant Certificate.
- Casting experience.
- Orthopedic Cast Technician program completions.
- One year of experience as Orthopedic Technician.
