• Provide direct clinical services to the inmates of the Substance Abuse Treatment program as a "Primary Counselor".
• As the Primary Counselor, complete initial assessments, group and individual counseling, and discharge summaries in a timely manner.
• Conduct psycho‑educational modules for all program participants.
• Evaluate inmates referred for substance abuse treatment services to determine the appropriate level of treatment and, if applicable, the necessary agency to provide required services.
• Document inmate evaluation or program participation in accordance with program procedures.

• State certification as a substance abuse counselor.
• Experience providing services within a correctional setting is preferred.
• A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.
