Job Description:

The Scheduler / Insurance Coordinator supports daily clinic operations by coordinating patient scheduling, insurance verification, and referral management. This role serves as a key point of contact for patients, providers, and external offices, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

* Greet patients and visitors in a professional and timely manner
* Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls using proper etiquette
* Schedule patient appointments in accordance with clinic policies
* Collect, review, and update patient demographic and insurance information
* Obtain referrals, pre-authorizations, and payer notifications as required
* Communicate appointment details, instructions, and reminders to patients
* Coordinate with referring offices and internal departments to ensure timely care
* Maintain accurate documentation within scheduling and registration systems
* Address patient concerns and escalate issues as appropriate
* Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
* Perform additional administrative duties as assigned## Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Minimum of one (1) year of related experience required
* Clerical or administrative experience in a medical office setting preferred## Benefits:
