Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM (6-week temporary position starting November 19)

Golden Years Adult Day Health Care centers every role around respect, kindness, empathy, community, and care. This temporary position supports a participant who uses a wheelchair, enabling her to enjoy simple daily pleasures like looking out the living room window after breakfast.

• Assist with safe transfers from bed to wheelchair each morning and as needed throughout the day
• Provide daily hygiene support including face washing and teeth brushing; assist with bathing 2–3 times per week
• Prepare breakfast daily and support meal prep; change bed linens regularly
• Perform light housekeeping: take out trash, dust and sanitize bed area, sweep room, and put away clean laundry on Fridays
• Incontinence requires regular changing of supplies while maintaining dignity and privacy
• Offer companionship during relaxed routines, fostering a sense of community and calm

• Experience with wheelchair transfers, personal hygiene, and incontinence care
• Compassionate approach rooted in respect, kindness, empathy, community, and care
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and physically able to assist with transfers
• Comfortable with temporary role; valid driver's license preferred for any errands

Full-time, Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
$18 per hour
