Director of Human Resources (Strategy & Operations)

EPM is partnered with an exciting, rapidly growing commercial manufacturing organization that serves some of the globe's most innovative biopharma companies. The team has experienced significant growth in 2026 and, with plans to further increase headcount and commercial output in 2027, is seeking a talented HR Director to lead workforce strategy, talent planning, and organizational development for its site.
This opportunity is based on-site in Lexington, KY, and is open to both local and relocation candidates. The organization is able to provide support for relocation.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading the site HR function for a rapidly growing contract manufacturing operation
- Partnering with the GM and Site Leadership Team on workforce and people strategy
- Driving talent development, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives
- Supporting site growth through workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, and retention
- Leading HR operations, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness
- Developing and coaching a high-performing HR team
Ideal Candidate Background:
- 10+ years of HR experience within manufacturing, life sciences, pharma, CDMO, or a related environment
- Strong background in HR operations and employee relations
- Experience building talent development and succession planning programs
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and operate as a strategic HR partner
- Track record supporting organizational growth, change, and workforce scaling
- Comfortable balancing executive-level strategy with hands-on HR leadership
