Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Legal Administrative Assistant to support our Business Solutions, Restructuring, and Financial Litigation practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong litigation support skillset, including experience assisting attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, and demonstrated success supporting attorneys with long-standing legal careers, serving as an effective bridge between traditional legal practices and modern legal technology. This role requires advanced organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven litigation environment.

The Legal Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and legal support, including litigation document preparation, court filings, calendar and deadline management, client communication, and coordination of complex litigation, restructuring, and business‑related matters, while helping optimize workflows through effective use of current legal systems and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high‑level administrative and litigation support to attorneys within the Business Solutions, Restructuring, and Financial Litigation practice group, including complex calendar management, correspondence handling, docket monitoring, and critical deadline tracking.
  • Prepare, edit, proofread, and format litigation‑related documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery materials, court filings, contracts, agreements, and correspondence associated with financial litigation, restructuring, and business transactions.
  • Maintain, organize, and manage litigation case files, client records, and legal documents, ensuring compliance with court rules while effectively integrating traditional paper files with electronic document management systems.
  • Coordinate the execution of legal documents, including obtaining signatures, notarization, and filing with courts and regulatory agencies in strict compliance with applicable procedural rules.
  • Monitor and track litigation deadlines, court dates, hearing schedules, and filing requirements to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to jurisdictional rules.
  • Assist attorneys with document review, discovery management, and regulatory compliance related to financial litigation and restructuring matters.
  • Prepare and file regulatory, corporate, bankruptcy, and litigation‑related documents in accordance with federal, state, and local court requirements.
  • Support attorneys in trial, hearing, arbitration, and deposition preparation, including organizing exhibits, evidence, witness materials, and trial notebooks in both physical and electronic formats.
  • Serve as a liaison between attorneys and evolving legal technologies by supporting the adoption and effective use of document management systems, e‑filing platforms, litigation support software, and other legal technology tools.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding sensitive legal, client, and financial information, particularly in complex and high‑stakes litigation matters.
  • Organize team meetings, prepare litigation‑related materials, and track follow‑up actions for ongoing cases and restructuring matters.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to billing, time entry, and expense reporting with accuracy and attention to litigation‑specific requirements.
